About Me
I have been in the child care field since September of 1984 working in a group
family child care home. I worked there for over two years and started my own
child care home on December 2, 1986.
I have been married 30 years and have 2 daughters, a son in law and a beautiful
granddaughter.
I belong to 4 child care organizations: Dakota County Family Child Care
Association, Minnesota Association of Child Care Professionals, Minnesota Child
Care Provider Information Network and Provider’s Choice, Inc. I have taken
many hours of training. I also have achieved credits through Northeast Metro
Technical College specializing in their Child Care Skills training program. I was
honored as Outstanding Child Care Provider in Dakota County in 1997 and in
2008.
I love children and thoroughly enjoy them. I provide a safe, healthy, and loving
environment along with many learning opportunities and experiences. I promote
self assurance, respect and individuality. Your child will feel loved at hug-a-bear
